David U. Lewis has had an extensive and impressive career that started in the United Kingdom and continues here in the United States. Prior to joining the family business, Housen Homecare, Mr. Lewis spent 15 years in publishing sales, marketing, and advertising management. During his career, worked closely with many organizations throughout the United Kingdom and was a member of the Education Authority, the Business Abroad Working Group for the West Midlands, and a board member of ITV News Central UK Equal Opportunity Forum.
In 2005, he founded The Vine, which became the second-largest black magazine in the United Kingdom. In 2012, he left The Vine to join Housen Homecare, as Operations Manager. In this role, Mr. Lewis oversaw the doubling of revenue in 2013 and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Development.
He is passionate about educating and guiding young people, and consequently, mentors students in their senior year of high school and often speaks to youth offenders in prison. Lewis’s self-described passions include God and family, followed closely by golf, fishing, health and fitness.
